I created so much work in 2024 that I literally couldn't even fit it all in this recap video. This past year I showed my work in nine states, had my most successful exhibition ever and completed my fifth video installation experience. I am incredibly thankful to anyone who I've crossed paths with and the many who continue to support and make my work apart of your existence. Every single one of you helped 2024 be a truly life-changing year for me and I am eternally grateful. With that said, I plan to make 2025 even bigger and I will see you on the road soon.

I realize this exhibition just completed ten days

I realize this exhibition just completed ten days ago, but it's wild how quickly I move onto new work and what's to come. Moments like this give me a moment to reflect on what Hope Unraveling meant to me as an artist and the challenge I posed to myself. My fifth solo exhibition debuted more work than any before along with Hope is the Prelude to Misery, a moving video sculpture that seemed to captivate viewers throughout the weekend. My intention with this show was to deconstruct the word "hope." To put it in a different light and allow audiences to determine if it ends up causing more harm than good; I believe I accomplished that. I created these pieces with my poetry and writing playing a more pivotal role. Words ripping through a sea of dark surrealism poignantly introducing people to themselves in an unapologetic way. I'm proud of what this show stood for and how unrelenting it was (it was to me in many ways as well). Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out and see this show. Familiar faces and new faces alike; I truly enjoyed your questions/conversations challenging meaning and ultimately, hope. This show, with just those moments, would have been a massive success, but it would be insufficient not to mention all the work that sold. Going into these shows, I never know what to expect. I know the work I put in, but people coming and work moving is never a guarantee. This exhibition was my most successful, ever. By a lot. I outsold my 2023 exhibition, Technicolor Hellscape, opening night alone. And to note, that exhibition did very well and was my most successful to this point. I am forever grateful to everyone who invites my work into their homes to be an onlooker to your life. To know you want to experience my work on a daily basis for years and years to come is something I truly cherish. Also, a huge thank you to Ketchup City Creative for hosting and allowing me to transform their space. I appreciate you all and until next time.

Well, Hope Unraveling was something I worked very, very hard for. A culmination of my biggest and most successful year as an artist and it's fitting that this exhibition embodied both of those items as well. I was thrilled to hear so many say this was my best show and with some of their favorite works from me. The familiar and new faces were great, but the conversations I got to have with you about my work was what made it so worthwhile to me. The amount of work that sold warms my bleak, dreary heart and to invite what I do into your home and have it be an onlooker to your life is something I do not take for granted. So, thank you very, very much. I will be recapping the show with a lot of pictures and a writeup next week, but I need to take this week for a much needed rest (which I never do). I love everyone who took the time to come out and those who messaged me from afar that wished they could be there. I'll tell you this, if you opted not to come to this show, you really missed out on a special weekend. Thank you all and I'm going to enjoy a few days to myself for a change.
