Art can disrupt because of its honesty. We’re certainly not very accustomed to that in this world. I’ve been doing a lot of introspection as I begin to create a new body of work and I’ve come to some conclusion that getting to know yourself is often viewed as dangerous. I like that. I like translating the human condition in a very unapologetic and unrelenting way. I think any time art becomes a weapon, even if not intentioned, proves that it is needed. I promise to continue to explore what I am and what I do in the most honest, raw and visceral way that I can. Whether it’s met with love or hate is just a beautiful consequence. I look forward to sharing this with those who appreciate what I do.
