Seven Weeks on the Road Complete

You don’t get to see all the prep and how hard I’ve worked at this. You don’t get to see all the days and nights on the road. The many hotel beds. The load ins and the load outs. The logistics being calculated. The drives back to Pittsburgh for one or two days at the most to restock, sign, mat and sleeve prints, get more originals and even working on new art between shows. It’s throwing caution to the wind and it’s up to you with your work to either sink or swim. It’s a test. I’ve always known and felt that art is about risk. Risking yourself, your thoughts, your opinions, your livelihood. It separates and isolates you, but in a weird way it connects you to others as well. I’ve always loved contrast and juxtaposition, so maybe that’s why I love being an artist so much. Success and failure walk on a similar line, but after surviving the better part of two months on the road, I only feel the former. These seven weeks have been exhausting in so many different ways, but also very satisfying. To meet people who have followed me for years and to get my work in front of tens of thousands of eyes in the process is something I cherish. I want to thank everyone who came out to see my work, talked with me or bought a piece during this tour. I’m not sure if you fully realize how important that is to me and how serious I take your questions and discussions about my art. So, thank you. I want to give a huge thank you to the Oddities & Curiosities Expo for wanting me to be a part of your show, believing in my work and I’m already looking forward to planning my next year with you. I also want to thank every artist and maker I met on this run as well as you guys were quite kind and welcoming to me making this as easy as it could be. I’m definitely happy to call you friends and look forward to seeing you in 2025. Some of you have already inquired about if your favorite piece from the tour was still available and purchased it. I appreciate that so very much! I will be getting up the new originals and prints in my online store momentarily, probably in the next two weeks. As for now, I am relaxing (somewhat), but I have a huge announcement on the horizon in September. I may have already done more than I ever have this year, but it is far from over… I have something to unravel.

Again, thank you all and know as I take things further, I will eventually be seeing you in your city.

Love for those deserving, always.
