The writing piece reads, “And when it overtakes me it will never swallow me whole. It likes to chew, it likes to marinate me in spit. It likes to savor all the dirty things I was taught never to admit. It taught me there is no shame. It taught me to throw away a god that would leave me in flames. My teeth now growing back, capable little knives. Now I’m the one who gets to chew… The way, the truth and the bite.”
