The writing piece reads, “The fence is cracking away, the one that keeps me from harm. I will destroy your purity, this life has lost its charm. My eyes remind me of life, but my soul is battered. Cavities in its smile, holes you’ve patched when things used to matter. Why are bruises so pretty? Is it to reward violence? I never want this to heal, but I am so frail. The fence absorbs my dimming smile. This final feeling, the final nail.”
